Training for a half-marathon ended up being a greater commitment than I had first anticipated. Over an 8 week period of time, many factors including health, food intake, cross training, and not to mention the actual hours spent running, all had to be taken into consideration. However, it all paid off this last weekend in the Mother Road Half Marathon, in Joplin, MO.
